Can you be a hunter without arrow and quiver? Yes. Today's hunt has evolved. To the ancient hunter meat on the table nurtured his clan. His survival instinct, for himself and for the human race, primal. The hunt was his legacy.
Lacking the strength and speed of his opponent, he relied on his adaptability and resourcefulness to craft weapons, traps, and techniques outwitting his formidable opponent. Traveling light he adorned his neck with the tooth of his latest kill for stealth and bound an amulet of his spirit animal to his spear for swiftness.
Today his cave has evolved into a skyscraper forged from the same steel used to craft the amulet around his neck. His weapons, now high-tech tools, still assist him to outwit his opponents. The struggle to fill his stomach long behind him, he strives to feed his soul. He forges his own path, defines his own goals, and hunts his best life.
He is a modern hunter.
Minimalism is about having everything you want and nothing you don't. It's both a way of life and a design principle.
What do you truly love? What does luxury mean to you? Minimal doesn't mean Spartan. It isn't about living without. It's about indulging in what you love. Only you can define what that is . . . travel to a foreign land, sipping your favorite scotch by the fire, an original piece of art, court side seats . . . whatever makes your heart smile even when nobody else understands why.
